Le goût du verre - 2006

Sculptor ans painter since 1990, i tested various media like plaster,
wood, composits matérials, etc. For a long time, I sought material
which can translate more truely and deeply my emotions, passion, imaginary,
a material as playing with shape/light/colors.
My first contact with hot glass goes back to 2003. Immediately I was
impassioned for this living matter in fusion. Glass is an amazing capacity
of contrasts with enormous diversity of feeling.
In 2004, I began the "blowing of glass" at IKA Mechelen Belgium.
Thereafter I will take part in various training courses given by artists
and technicians of blown glass, in all Europe. In parallel i take part
in the realization of creations of various artists and also carries
out my own parts (sculptures, vases, lamps…)
Shapping, engraving, searching and finding my world in layout and thickness
of glass is a deep and intense pleasure.
